Cop Shop volunteers, supporters appreciated

To the editor:

The Noble County Law Enforcement Association would like to thank all of the
police officers and their spouses for making Cop Shop 2008, a wonderful
success. This year 24 children from throughout the county participated in
the program.

We would also like to thank the following organizations for their generous
donations that enable us to continue this program year after year: KPD
Cruise, Burnsworth Zollars, Campbell & Fetter Bank, Community State Bank,
Flint & Walling, Guardian Industries, Cops for Kids of Indiana, Athena Club,
Kendallville Patrolman Benevolent Association, Wal-Mart and Pizza Hut.

We also received numerous donations from many individuals in the county.
Your support is greatly appreciated! The children and their families thank
you.

Special thanks to the First Christian Church for allowing us the use of its
facilities for the pizza party and to Sally Thomas and Renee Harp for
setting up the kitchen, serving, and cleaning up after the party.

We would also like to thank Wanda Truelove for all of her help in organizing
the event again this year.
