Substance abuse program
Date Posted: February 2, 2009
Noble County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Doug Harp recently addressed more than 40 Parkview Noble Hospital staff members as part of a special program on substance abuse. Harp focused on the dangers of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs.
Employees were educated on how to identify a person who is using meth and what type of behaviors and health implications they might see if a meth user is brought into the hospital. Harp brought samples of meth and other illegals drugs to show employees. Harp worked with Max Franklin of Parkview Noble security and Troy Jester, hospital safety coordinator, to coordinate the hour-long program.
